Hina Khan, Rubina Dilaik Discuss Aamir Khan’s Third Marriage On The POV

One of the most talked-about subjects among fans and the film industry is Aamir Khan's third marriage to his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5. In the latest episode of their show The POV, television stars Hina Khan and Rubina Dilaik discussed their views on Aamir Khan's third marriage, bringing the actor's personal life back into the public eye. They had an open discussion with their partners, Rocky Jaiswal and Abhinav Shukla, about how society evaluates celebrities based on both their personal and professional lives.

They began with a discussion on whether criticism of Khan's personal life could impact his films and long-running career. 

Responding to Hina's question, Rubina said that there had never been any major controversy surrounding Khan's life. However, Hina disagreed and asked, “Is this any less of a controversy?”, referring to his third marriage to Gauri Spratt.

Debate Over Marriage Choices

Due to their different perspectives and beliefs regarding personal choices, their disagreement continued. Later, Hina, who shares a similar upbringing and faith, said, 

"I am not judging him for getting married again. However, repeated marriages are not viewed favourably in our society." Rocky Jaiswal, Hina's husband, added, “Leave marriage aside; even divorce isn't considered acceptable in our society”.

Private Wedding In Mumbai

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt in a private registered ceremony on July 5, 2026, marking his third marriage after keeping his relationship away from the spotlight for years. The wedding ceremony was held at his Bandra residence in Mumbai's Pali Hill area.

Khan appeared happy and was seen dancing with his wife at the event, which was attended by his children and close friends.

A Muslim preacher reportedly issued a fatwa against Aamir Khan after his marriage, while criticism of the union emerged over interfaith marriage-related issues. Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane also accused him of "love jihad", among other political reactions.

The actor later clarified in an interview that none of the women he married converted to Islam. He said,

"We had civil marriages, therefore neither Gauri, Kiran, nor Reena changed their religion. Gauri is a Christian, not particularly a devout one, and she is not even Hindu."
