Govinda Denies Affair Rumours With Co-Star Komal Rani, Says Controversy Is ‘Planned’

Veteran actor Govinda and his co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar have been at the centre of affair rumours circulating online. Amid the controversy, Govinda and Komal were spotted at the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai, hours after the actor’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, visited the pandal with bodyguards.

Sunita Ahuja recently commented on the controversy while speaking to paparazzi. She said that no matter how much one loves a person, they will eventually hurt you. Pointing to her dog, she added that if you show it love, it will always remain by your side. She also said that her home is “shattering”.

Amid the ongoing controversy, Komal made remarks about Sunita Ahuja in a recent Instagram story. She said that “nobody can ever be a homebreaker in an already broken house”.

Komal Questions Sunita’s Public Remarks

She further questioned why a woman would choose to put her pain on public display instead of trying to heal from it.

“She seems to enjoy putting it on display in public. Is this really pain, or is it a carefully thought-out conspiracy? To constantly mentally harass a man, stop him from working, force him to sit at home and waste away, isolate him completely and drive him to the point of death,” she wrote.

Komal continued:

“I don't think any good and devoted wife could treat her husband so terribly. Are women like this mentally unwell, or are they simply too clever for their own good, fully aware that what they couldn't accomplish behind doors, they can achieve by going public and gaining people's sympathy?”

Govinda Denies Affair Rumours, Explains Visit With Komal

Meanwhile, Govinda has denied the affair rumours, saying that he and Komal share a professional relationship. He also said that even if there were an affair, it was nobody else’s concern.

Addressing his visit to the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with Komal, Govinda said he had gone to pray for his upcoming film. He added that he had previously visited the pandal with actors Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, and the films they were associated with went on to become successful.

The actor further alleged that the controversy was part of a “strategically planned” move to separate him from his family.
