Dhamaal 4 : Ajay Devgn and Team Bring Back Treasure Hunt Comedy on 10 July

Bollywood has seen many comedy films, but only a few franchises have managed to make audiences of every generation laugh consistently. One of them is ‘Dhamaal’. Released in 2007, this film won people’s hearts with its slapstick comedy, fun characters, and a treasure hunt storyline. Now, after almost seven years, the makers are returning with ‘Dhamaal 4’, which will release in theatres on 10 July 2026. Dhamaal (2007)
The story revolves around four unemployed and irresponsible friends. They learn about ₹10 crore worth of treasure buried in Goa from a dying thief. They set out to find the treasure. However, a police inspector also starts chasing the same treasure, leading to chaotic comedy and quirky situations that made the audience love the film.

Double Dhamaal (2011)
This is a direct sequel to the 2007 film. The four friends are now rich businessmen and plan to steal money from their old rival, Inspector Kabir. They disguise themselves as his relatives and convince him to invest in an oil project. But Kabir is already smart and ends up cheating them and taking all their money. After this, the four friends try various ways to recover their money from Kabir.

Total Dhamaal (2019)
This is the third film in the franchise, which also introduced new characters. The story begins with ₹50 crore of black money stolen by two thieves from the police. The money is lost in an accident and ends up hidden in a zoo in Janakpur. Multiple groups then try to get their hands on the money, leading to the real adventure of the story.

What’s new this time?

‘Dhamaal 4’ once again revolves around a treasure hunt, but this time the story moves beyond the old “W” tree to a new island and a treasure marked with an “M”. The trailer shows a mix of adventure, jungle, wild animals, and comedy, which has already sparked buzz on social media before the release.

The biggest strength of the film is its star cast. Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Javed Jaffrey will once again be seen together. Along with them, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Esha Gupta, and Sanjeeda Shaikh are also part of the film. The return of old characters has further raised fans’ expectations.
