A person of Indian nationality identified as Jashandeep Singh has been deported back to India after US Immigration Authorities found him to be a threat to US security. According to a statement by the Department of Homeland Security, Singh was deported from the US on August 3, thus becoming one of the five foreigners who have been deported from the US last week due to their criminal records. In addition, it was revealed that Singh's criminal background involves sexual coercion through the use of force, burglary, and theft. However, no details regarding his age, hometown, and immigration background have been made public.

Why Was Singh Deported?

Singh was a criminal illegal alien whose previous crimes gave DHS reason to consider him a priority for deportation. Out of the five deportees that week, Singh was the only Indian individual, with the rest being four Guatemalans, Mexicans, and a Chilean. The others were a Guatemalan man who was found guilty of murder and repeated drunk driving, a Mexican who was charged with manslaughter and illegal entry, another Mexican man who was found guilty of illegally trading arms, and finally a Chilean burglar.

Statement By The Department Of Homeland Security

The Department of Homeland Security is discussing the individuals who have been deported back to their native lands. In his statement, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin indicated that the officers who enforce immigration laws are working day and night to apprehend and deport illegal immigrants who pose a danger to the community. According to Markwayne Mullin, the individuals who have been recently deported committed crimes such as the murder of innocent people through drunken driving, serious injuries to people, and illegal gun trafficking. Secretary Markwayne Mullin further stated that deportation has made our country more secure due to the reduction in the crime rate. He feels that this trend has occurred as a result of President Trump’s immigration policies.
