The President of the US, Donald Trump, stated that he will be responding very soon to the rejection of his 15-point Gaza peace plan made by Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that he already had a response and he will post it on Truth Social, his social media platform.

While being interviewed by the press in the Oval Office on Monday, the President of the US was questioned about Netanyahu's rejection of the plan created by the Board of Peace. "I have a response. I put it out today on Truth, a good response," the President stated despite no such statement was yet posted on the platform. However, despite the tension between Trump and Netanyahu, the US President stated that their relations are "very good".

The statement came following Netanyahu, who addressed the weekly Cabinet meeting on Sunday, who refused to embrace the road map proposed by the United States.
According to the road map, the process was supposed to take place in a phase where Hamas was supposed to relinquish its weapons and control to the new Palestinian government while Israel withdrew its forces to the "yellow line," which was defined by the ceasefire agreement of October 2025. Netanyahu's refusal comes after weeks of being pressurized by right-wing coalition members who have been against the plan ahead of the October election period in Israel.

Meanwhile, Hamas called for American intervention. One of Hamas political bureau members claimed that the mediation team together with "American Guarantor" was supposed to put pressure on Netanyahu's government to abide by the road map instead of obstructing it for domestic political reasons.

The case shows the increasing rift between Washington and Jerusalem regarding the Gaza plan.
