Truck Rams DTC Bus In Delhi Cantonment

There was a road accident where a privately owned truck collided with a Delhi Transport Corporation Bus at Delhi Cantonment on Wednesday, causing panic among passengers and pedestrians who witnessed the whole incident. The traffic movement along that route was held up for some time before police officers arrived at the scene to deal with the situation. There is no official report on any injuries caused by the accident yet.

Cantonment Bus & Truck Accident Details Pending

The cause of the accident between the truck and DTC bus has not yet been identified. The police have started investigations at the scene of the accident, and more details will be known soon once the investigation process on the truck & DTC bus collision case gets underway. No news is available yet regarding the condition of the passengers who were in the DTC bus.

Road Accidents Reported in the Capital City

The capital city of Delhi had seen more than one road accident on the previous weekend. Firstly, Shashi, a 71-year-old lady, was killed due to a road accident when she was hit by a vehicle close to the Kailash Colony metro station in Greater Kailash 1. The alleged driver ran over many vehicles before crashing into Shashi and her husband, Kulbhushan, aged 65 years. He too sustained injuries and was later fit enough to make his statement. He was arrested, and a case has been registered against him under Sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Greater Kailash 1 police station. 

Another accident took place near ITO around 9:30 PM when a Swift car, driven by Ashutosh Pandey, hit a road divider and crashed into an SUV coming from the opposite side. Pandey was travelling with his wife and two children from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO at the time. The car jumped a divider and collided into an Innova car that was approaching from the other side.
