From ‘Bhabhi-Devar’ to Husband-Wife: How Ram Kapoor Found Love on the Sets

Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor met each other for the first time in the shooting sets of Ghar Ek Mandir, in which they acted as devar and bhabhi respectively. What started as an onscreen relationship eventually evolved into something more personal off screen.

As they were working together in the series, Ram and Gautami apparently became quite close. Their interaction in the shooting sets led to a real-life relationship. 

A Dramatic Change in Their Onscreen Story 

In fact, there was another twist in their onscreen story as well. In the series, after losing her husband, Gautami’s character ultimately married her devar, portrayed by Ram Kapoor.

Ram and Gautami have since added another dimension to their lives, that is parenthood. The couple had their daughter Sia Kapoor in 2006, and their son Aks Kapoor in 2009.
