The Delhi Police has granted permission to the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, Abhijeet Dipke, for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from 10 AM to 5 PM as a one-time exception on Saturday.

The CJP has asked the protesters to arrive directly at Jantar Mantar, rather than the Parliament Street Police Station.

Senior police officials met Dipke at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport Terminal 3 upon his arrival from the United States. Dipke arrived at the airport holding B.R. Ambedkar’s ‘My Biography’ and urged protesters to carry a book and the Tricolour with them to the protest site.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Police have tightened security outside the residences of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The movement has also received support from several public figures, including social activist Sonam Wangchuk and actor Prakash Raj
